Continuous innovation and rapid growth have been the themes throughout our short but interesting history of servicing both startups and large multinational organizations.
Established in 2005 Avangard expanded quickly and significantly its operations and customer base to offer value added services and products to its partners.The company is already an established partner in the communications business, technology development, systems and business integration.
During the first year of business the company opened its offices in Florida and Eastern Europe and attracted several major customers for its service and VoIP termination divisions. The company also expanded its team of engineers in order to be able to better services its customers.
In 2006 Avangard opened its office in California and expanded its European team. During this year the service businesses doubled their revenues and the company launched its first software products AVA Rating - a high performance rating engine, and AVA Routing - a high performance routing engine.
In 2007 the VoIP termination business reached a critical size and was separated in a new company. During this year the team was further expanded to reach 75 people worldwide. The most significant milestone of the year was the launch of the VoIP billing system AVA VoIP.
In 2008 Avangard opened its development office in Asia and thus further increased its team. This year also marked the launch of our VoIP SaaS (software as a service) based on the AVA VoIP platform. Several important sales partners were added during this period which allowed the national coverage of the US market and the entry into the Asian, European, and Middle East markets. Finally, in 2008 we finished development of our convergent billing solution AVA Media.
In 2009 the focus was on the SaaS model which was developed further to became one of the main revenue streams for the company. Avangard also continued to enlarge its network of distributors, resellers, and agents in different parts of the world.
In 2010 the company continued to develop the AVA VoIP billing solution and the related SaaS - two new versions of the software were released during the period which added important new features and functionalities to our product and service offerings. We also expanded further our customer base which now reaches every corner of the world.
